Buildings are all the structures that can be built on on Stella's boat through the use of the Blueprint Station. In the Build section of the station, there are three different tabs, each with a different kind of building available to craft.
All buildings can be moved on Stella's boat after construction.
Spirit Houses[]
Spirit Houses are unique buildings that serve as homes for the spirit passengers of Stella's boat. They are unlocked through spirit character requests.
These buildings cannot be built more than once, with the exception of the Guest House which may be rebuilt after it is transformed into Stanley's Playroom during the Big Boy's Room request.
They cannot be dismantled after construction, but can still be moved like any other building.
Improving a Spirit House will permanently increase the spirit's happiness, with the exception of Elena who will hate any improvement made to her Cubicle.
1 The HVAC system is unlocked after Summer falls into a sleep that she cannot wake up from during A Cold and Dreamless Slumber.
2 These have been switched back and forth between Clear Glass Sheet and Crystal Glass Sheet a couple times now and it's unclear which is the right one.
Production Buildings[]
Production buildings are structures on Stella's boat that serve to produce and refine items. They are unlocked through upgrades to the Blueprint Station at Albert's Shipyard.
These buildings are not unique and can be built more than once. Placing more than one of each causes the building cost to increase, relative to the number of copies already on the boat. This increased cost caps at the fourth copy.
With the exception of Archive Room B-2522 they can also be dismantled, unlike Spirit Houses, and reclaimed for its full construction cost and any Glims spent on its improvement. Any materials spent on the improvement will not be refunded.
Ability Structures[]
With the exception of the Lounge and the Archive Room B-2522, these buildings are used by Stella to navigate the boat with the use of her Abilities. After Stella unlocks each of her first 4 abilities through Shrines, Albert will send her a letter in the mail containing a blueprint for the appropriate structure.

1The Zipline requires two copies to be built at the same time. The price of each will be the same price shown, but the next pair built will be at a cost that counts both parts of the zipline as separate buildings. The first zipline set of 2 will cost 2 * (4 Wool Thread, 2 Marble, 1 Metal Rope), but the next set will cost 2 * (12 Wool Thread, 6 Marble, 3 Metal Rope).
Pre-Release[]
In the Alpha Build, players only could build Summer's Room and the Garden. In the Demo, Gwen and Atul are also on the ferry and have their own rooms. Players can either use a door to enter a building or interact otherwise with certain objects, like with the kitchen oven, the Field or the Garden. Stella's house is atop the engine room where players can set a new course for the ferry. Outside is a bell which can be rung by Stella.
